Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel in Florida is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Team Leader to guide and mentor the OT staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality patient care at our Wesley Chapel location.

In this role, you’ll partner with the Director of Therapy Operations to schedule and train the team, provide direct patient care, build meaningful relationships with patients, and celebrate milestones in rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Therapy Operations with daily therapy team operations, scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with the occupational therapy staff and hospital departments.
• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient‘s physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
