Alameda Health System is seeking a supervising Occupational Therapist II to oversee entry- to journey-level professionals and students in rehabilitation programs. The role includes developing techniques, coordinating treatments, and managing a caseload in addition to supervisory duties.

The position requires a California OT license and appropriate education. A strong emphasis is placed on ongoing professional development and providing high-quality therapy services within Alameda Health System

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, certification or Master’s Degree from an approved school of occupational therapy.
• Current Licensure with the California Board of Occupational Therapy as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and instructs entry to journey level professional therapists and staff.
• Assists in developing techniques and equipment for occupational therapy.
• Plans and administers treatment programs and evaluates patient progress.
• Maintains patient records and coordinates treatment with other services.
• Supervises staff and may lead groups of patients in rehabilitation.
• Keeps informed of current trends and participates in professional activities.
