Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an Observability Engineer to design and operate monitoring infrastructure across production systems. You will provide engineering teams with deep visibility through metrics, logs, and traces, ensuring high availability and performance.

You will implement full-stack monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog, define SLOs/SLIs, and build scalable dashboards while collaborating with global teams in a 100% remote setting.

Qualifications

4+ years in Infrastructure, SRE, or Observability.
Experience designing/operating metrics, logs, traces.
Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana.
Hands-on tracing with OpenTelemetry.
Experience optimizing Datadog observability.
Advanced English.

Responsibilities

Design and operate enterprise observability infrastructure to give engineering teams visibility.
Standardize telemetry data collection across distributed systems with OpenTelemetry.
Implement and optimize full-stack monitoring, APM, and log management with Datadog.
Collaborate with teams to define SLOs, SLIs, and alerting strategies.
Build scalable storage and real-time dashboards.
Drive adoption of best practices to improve incident detection and resolution times.
