Job summary

Advocate Health in Fort Mill, SC seeks a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (OB-GYN) for a full-time 40-hour week, typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Expect ultrasound imaging, patient prep, and collaboration with the OB-GYN team.

Required RDMS with OB-GYN specialty and at least 3 years of OB-GYN experience; Nuchal Translucency/Nasal Bone imaging may be required. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits, with career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RDMS OB-GYN license required.
• Minimum 3 years OB-GYN experience.
• Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging may be required; if not required, greater than 5 years experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician requisition orders and patient preparation for ultrasound procedures.
• Communicates patient status to OB-GYN nursing team pre- and post-procedure.
• Performs ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for high-risk indications.
• Performs ultrasound guidance for gynecological sonography including doppler.
• Assists with documentation of procedures in patient medical records.
• Performs administrative duties as requested.
