Job summary

Advocate Health in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a skilled OB-GYN ultrasound technologist to perform ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and obstetrical studies. This role requires current RDS with OB-GYN specialty and several years of hands-on experience.

You will review requisition orders, communicate with OB-GYN nursing staff, document procedures, and assist with administrative duties. Fluency in English and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Active OB-GYN specialty licensure as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Minimum 3 years of OB-GYN experience; NT and nasal imaging may be required.
• If NT/Nasal imaging not required, greater than 5 years of OB-GYN experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews requisition orders and patient preparation instructions for ultrasound procedures.
• Communicates patient status to OB-GYN nursing team pre- and post-procedure.
• Performs ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for high-risk indications.
• Performs ultrasound guidance for gynecological sonography including Doppler and obstetrical studies.
• Documents procedures in patient medical records.
• Assists with administrative duties as requested.
