Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an OB-GYN ultrasound technologist in Fort Mill, SC who will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician supervision. The role requires an RDMS OB-GYN specialty and 3 years of OB-GYN experience, with NT/NB imaging competency potentially required within a year.

Qualifications

• RDMS OB-GYN certification.
• Minimum 3 years OB-GYN experience.
• NT and Nasal Bone Imaging competency may be required; if not required, >5 years experience.
• Within one year, NT/NB Imaging certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review requisition orders and patient prep for ultrasound.
• Communicate patient status to OB/GYN nursing team pre/post procedure.
• Perform ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection.
• Provide ultrasound guidance for gynecological sonography including Doppler.
• Assess fetal growth, development, age, and anomalies; evaluate AFP screening.
• Document procedures in the patient record; assist with administrative duties.
