Job summary

JRG Partners, LLC. in New York City is seeking a Construction Manager to lead complex heavy civil projects across NYC. The role requires 10+ years of heavy civil experience and direct NYC project exposure, with oversight of sitework, excavation, utilities, and drainage systems.

You will coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules from mobilization through closeout, and uphold safety and quality standards on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Direct New York City construction project experience required.
• Experience managing sitework and excavation.
• Extensive experience with underground utilities.
• Experience with stormwater management and drainage systems.
• Demonstrated responsibility for project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Ability to interpret civil plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead heavy civil construction projects throughout New York City.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Direct sitework, excavation, underground utility, drainage, and stormwater operations.
• Coordinate project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, owners, utilities, and agencies.
• Develop construction sequencing around the logistical requirements of NYC projects.
• Identify and resolve constructability, scheduling, cost, and field issues.
• Manage subcontractor performance, change orders, project documentation, and closeout.
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, budget, and project delivery.
