Job summary

Vernon County Wisconsin invites applications for a part-time Meal Site Manager in the Human Services Department. You will oversee meal service at dining centers or home deliveries, coordinate volunteers, handle reservations, donations, and outreach under the Aging and Disability Resource Center.

Responsibilities include organizing meal service, ordering supplies, maintaining records, and ensuring food safety. A valid driver’s license and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED, supplemented by an associate degree in Accounting/Finance with additional courses in business/supervisory management.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a business office. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and supervises the serving of nutrition program meals.
• Directs volunteers in kitchen/cleanup, orders meals and supplies.
• Maintains attendance sheets, counts, deposits and monthly reports.
• Recruits volunteers and completes outreach for new consumers.
• May assist with packaging meals for home delivered participants.

Education
