Child Inc is seeking a Nutrition Services Manager to lead the nutrition and food service programs aligned with Head Start Program Performance Standards and CACFP. You will direct program operations, supervise nutrition staff, and coordinate reporting and compliance across multiple sites in the Austin area.

The role emphasizes staff training on nutrition standards, program development, and collaboration with families to support healthy meals for children.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Food Sciences or related field.
• Family and Consumer Studies with emphasis in Child Development/Food Service/Nutrition acceptable.
• Registered/Licensed Dietitian preferred.
• Five years of experience administering or coordinating community nutrition or related programs in a multi-site setting.
• Minimum of three years supervising nutrition services programming and staff.
• Experience with preschool, toddler and infant nutrition preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience required.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition and growth of infants and young children.
• Must have knowledge of community nutrition resources.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Certified Dietitian preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and coordinate Head Start nutrition and CACFP programs across sites.
• Train center staff and cooks on nutrition standards.
• Monitor, redesign and update nutrition programs; prepare required reports.
• Advise parents and children on nutrition services.
• Travel as needed in personal vehicle.
