Job summary

Aimic Inc is seeking a Nut Form Manager to lead our Nut Form Department, overseeing production planning, tooling, quality, and safety to achieve delivery goals. The role requires hands‑on leadership and deep expertise in multi‑station nut forming and cold forming equipment.

The successful candidate will mentor operators and setup personnel, optimize machine utilization, reduce scrap, and drive continuous improvement in a high‑precision aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in nut forming or related precision manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with multi‑station nut forming and cold forming equipment.
• Strong understanding of forming dies, transfer systems, tooling design, tooling maintenance, and setup procedures.
• Experience managing production schedules, workforce performance, and operational priorities.
• Thorough knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, inspection methods, SPC, and quality management systems.
• Aerospace fastener manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with tooling procurement, tooling inventory management, and tooling development programs.
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the daily operations of the Nut Form Department.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate Nut Former Operators, Setup Personnel, and other employees.
• Manage production schedules and priorities to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate machine setups, changeovers, and staffing to maximize utilization.
• Monitor departmental performance through production, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and housekeeping standards.
• Lead cross‑functional teamwork with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, and Production Planning.
• Provide troubleshooting support for complex nut forming and cold forming processes.
• Review blueprints, job orders, tooling requirements, and specifications for compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, setup reduction, and waste reduction.
• Support new product introductions, tooling trials, and process validation.
