Job summary

MS Aerospace in Santa Clarita, CA seeks a Nut Form Manager to lead the Nut Form Department with a focus on performance, safety, and continuous improvement. You will oversee production planning, employee supervision, tooling management, and process optimization to meet quality and delivery goals.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with multi-station nut forming and cold forming equipment, plus strong knowledge of dies, tooling, setup procedures, and SPC/ GD&T quality practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in nut forming or related precision manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with multi-station nut forming and cold forming equipment.
• Strong understanding of dies, transfer systems, tooling design, tooling maintenance, and setup procedures.
• Aerospace fastener manufacturing experience preferred; tooling procurement experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the daily operations of the Nut Form Department.
• Supervise and mentor Nut Former Operators, Setup Personnel, and other staff.
• Manage production schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate machine setups, changeovers, and staffing to maximize utilization.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, and Planning teams.
