A.S. Aerospace Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a Nut Former & Cold Heading Setup/Operator to run nut forming machinery, set up tooling, and ensure parts meet specifications.

This full-time role operates 5-die nut formers with automatic feeding, forming metal wire into precise nut products for aerospace applications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, adjusting tooling, inspecting parts with precision instruments, and maintaining quality records.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in nut forming or equivalent.
• Experience with high nickel alloys (A286, Inconel) preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate nut forming machines.
• Adjust tooling and transfer fingers at each station.
• Start machine and inspect first run and samples for conformance.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, gauges, and other tools.
• Read job orders for dimensions and tooling requirements.
• Maintain records, data entry and comply with safety regulations.
• Suggest process improvements and communicate concerns.
