Job summary

Houston Medical Center – AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a full-time Assistant Chief Clinical Officer – Quality Director (ACCO-QD). The ACCO-QD is a member of the administrative team and participates in policy, planning, and operations, leading nursing practice across the facility.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, 3–5 years in nursing administration, ICU/ED experience, and certification in BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Minimum of three to five years’ experience in nursing administration.
• Experience in hospital clinical operations.
• ICU/critical care/ER experience required.
• Clinical mentor/preceptor/trainer experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing practices and set clinical direction for the facility.
• Participate in decision‑making, policy determination, and planning and operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to address opportunities for improving nursing care.
• Lead and mentor clinical staff to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.
