Job summary

The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Loveland, CO, provides experienced caregiver support during day shifts in long-term care, partnering with RNs to deliver resident-centered care and daily living activities as outlined in care plans.

As a CNA with state certification, you will document care, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, meals, and hygiene, and support infection prevention while maintaining high accountability and teamwork in a Christian environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Minimum age 16. Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• May be required to complete Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.
• When applicable, driver with valid license per Sanford Driving Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced caregiver support during scheduled work period in long-term care.
• Deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changing conditions to charge nurse.
• Assist with transferring, mobility, meals, and daily living activities.
• Support infection prevention policies and use of PPE; participate in wellness and recreational programs.
