Job summary

Amyx seeks a highly experienced Nuclear Weapons SME to support the DHS CWMD advisory contract. The role focuses on nuclear weapons design, materials, threat indicators, and interagency collaboration to inform policy and decision making.

You will translate complex technical concepts into actionable intelligence, brief senior executives, and contribute to threat assessments and strategic plans for homeland security.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in nuclear weapons, deterrence, intelligence, or CWMD mission areas.
• Expertise in nuclear weapons design, surety, effects, intelligence, or C2 from government/defense/national labs.
• Experience supporting federal national security organizations and producing senior analytic products.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level analysis on nuclear weapons systems, materials, and threat vectors.
• Support CWMD IAD activities and integrate intelligence with technical nuclear knowledge.
• Advise leadership on policy implications, briefings, and strategic assessments.
• Engage interagency partners in CWMD governance and priorities.
• Develop methodologies and reference materials to strengthen CWMD nuclear analytics.
