Job summary

Valcor Engineering is seeking an engineer to plan, direct, and coordinate the design and development of fluid flow components, with emphasis on valve design in nuclear applications and manufacturing-aligned modifications.

The role supports design, production, planning, quality, and delivery, ensuring readiness for manufacturing and customer requirements while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BSME with PE License is required.
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Valve design experience in nuclear industry is required.
• Familiar with ASME Codes, ASTM materials, and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Review specs and select or design valve models from data banks.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, test procedures and reports.
• Produce operability calculations and ASME code design reports.
• Support production, procurement, and quality with technical info.
• Liaise with engineers and other departments to meet deadlines.
