Job summary

You will contribute to an multi-disciplinary team delivering mechanical, thermal-hydraulic, and safety analyses. The role offers flexibility in terms of time and location and may be full-time, part-time, or contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of safety analysis experience in a nuclear environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations, evaluations, engineering change packages, and licensing documents for SAR/ISA/LAR.
• Perform steady-state and transient thermal-hydraulic analyses for containment, LOCA, and environmental qualifications.
• Model nuclear systems using thermal-hydraulics tools to support operating plants and new reactor designs.
• Evaluate piping, heat exchangers, and mechanical systems for safety and reliability using industry software.
• Support NRC audits, client reviews, and proposal development.
