Job summary

JRC is seeking a Nuclear Surety & Certification lead for the LOC missile program. You will plan, implement, verify, and certify safety and security requirements across flight subsystems, interfacing with OSD, PAEs, and FFRDC stakeholders.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in defense systems on an MDAP, with knowledge of DoDI 3150.02 and DoD acquisition policies. Travel ~50% to ranges and facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of defense system engineering experience on an MDAP.
• Knowledge of DoD 3150.02 and Nuclear Weapons Systems Surety Program.
• Familiarity with DoD 5000-series acquisition policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage surety requirements for the LOC missile flight subsystem.
• Oversee implementation, verification, and certification for LOC weapon systems.
• Interface with OSD, Service PAEs, and FFRDC stakeholders to coordinate efforts.
