Job summary

NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC seeks a Senior Nuclear Simulator Software Engineering Analyst to own reliability and lifecycle of the Duane Arnold Simulator and training devices. Based on site in Palo, IA, you will work across power systems, DCS/IO, OS/automation, and networking to deliver deterministic, compliant platforms for operator training and NRC exam readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED.
• Associate's or Equivalent Experience.
• Experience: 4+ years.
• Nuclear Experience: 3+ years.

Responsibilities

• Serves as technical liaison to individuals within and outside the organization.
• Evaluates, monitors and conducts trend analyses on the performance of nuclear systems.
• Troubleshoots systems, performs predictive and root cause analysis, and initiates corrective action.
• Designs, performs and verifies analysis of preventive maintenance programs of assigned systems.
• Prepares and reviews complex engineering documents using nuclear industry standards and regulations.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
