Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Senior Nuclear Engineer to provide thermal-hydraulic analysis and technical leadership at the Comanche Peak site in Dallas, TX, under a CDSA outsourcing arrangement. The role blends remote flexibility with on-site collaboration with the CP NPP team.

Reporting to the Manager of Integrated Site Engineering, Safety Analysis, Risk Applications, & Licensing, you will perform safety-related analyses, manage scopes, and support multi-plant engineering tasks, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical problems.
• Less than 10% travel to domestic and international sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex system thermal-hydraulic engineering analysis and provide technical leadership/project management in safety analysis methods.
• Develop work scopes and obtain approval for engineering work authorizations.
• Maintain CP NPP qualifications for Safety Analysis Engineer, Engineering Orientation, and 10 CFR50.59 Screen and Evaluation.
• Initiate, evaluate, and disposition Condition Reports.
• Provide technical input and written documents supporting design, development, training, performance, and delivery of technical products and services.
• Define, manage, and drive projects to successful completion to meet customer needs.
• Support site requests (self assessments, equipment reliability, outage support, calculation reviews).
• Process vendor documents (Westinghouse Letters, NSALs, INs).
• Apply engineering analysis (transient, setpoints, containment) to other plants under Westinghouse QA program.
