Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Nuclear Engineer 2 to provide safety analysis and engineering support at the Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS) in Burlington, Kansas. The role involves working with Westinghouse safety analyses and supporting ongoing core design and licensing activities.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 onsite days per week at WCGS and collaboration with the Manager, Integrated Site Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear engineering is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of applicable experience in nuclear engineering or related field.
• Unescorted access at the Wolf Creek Generating Station will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety analysis engineering at Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS).
• Contribute to design and analysis for fuel reload design and safety analyses.
• Assist transition of WCNOC methodologies to Westinghouse methodology and support customers.
