Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a qualified professional to manage program quality plans and ensure standards compliance. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in nuclear quality programs, and strong analytical and communication skills.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement program quality plans and procedures.
• Ensure performance and quality products conform to company and regulatory standards.
• Review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies and data related to production.
• Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Recommend corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.

What You Must Have

• 10 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in a related field, or 8 years with a Masters, or 14 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Direct experience with commercial nuclear quality programs and manufacturing of structural steel components.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, root cause analysis methods, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience interpreting and applying standards such as NQA‑1, ISO 9001, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with complex datasets, performance metrics, and quality indicators.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience developing or maintaining controlled documentation and participating in structured review processes.

Bonus Points For Having!

• Applying standards and understanding NQA‑1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21.
• Experience in nuclear manufacturing, nuclear construction, shipbuilding, or commercial nuclear environments.
• Certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

Possible exposure to fumes and irritants normally encountered in an industrial or shipboard environment. May involve gathering of data while observing machinery or equipment operations.
