Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Project Engineer within order engineering. You will review data, create 2D drawings and 3D models, build engineering BOMs, and coordinate with Flowserve departments and suppliers to meet project milestones for pump and seal orders.

You will apply lean and Six Sigma methods to improve quality, cost, and delivery, perform calculations, and provide technical guidance to procurement, planning and manufacturing teams, while ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5-7 years of design engineering experience.
• Experience with 2D drafting and 3D modeling; SolidWorks preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with ASME/ANSI and nuclear industry guidelines is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare engineering data, drawings, and BOMs for orders.
• Coordinate with Flowserve departments and suppliers to establish delivery schedules.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design efforts.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Support procurement, planning and manufacturing with technical guidance.
