Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in Los Alamos, NM, seeks a Project Director 5 to lead the LAP4 and related infrastructure programs, ensuring scope delivery, EVMS, and DOE O 413.3B compliance across multiple directorates.

You will manage cost and scheduling, startup and commissioning, and integrate functions from Weapons Production, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA, and ESH in a nuclear facility environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex technical project organizations with strategic and tactical planning.
• Strong program/project management skills including scope, schedules, budgets, baselines, variance reporting, change control and risk.
• DOE O 413.3B project experience or equivalent requirements; nuclear facility project familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Management, Cost and Scheduling, Startup and Commissioning efforts.
• Coordinate integration of functions across LANL directorates (Weapons Production, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA, Environment, Safety & Health).
• Develop project execution plans, work breakdown structures and baseline reports; manage to scope, schedule, budget and technical baselines.
