Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Program and Budget Analyst to support NNSA's Plutonium Modernization efforts. The role requires a strong PPBE background, active clearance, and extensive federal budgeting experience.

You will craft cost projections, brief senior leaders, and coordinate with national laboratories on pit production costs. Responsibilities include preparing long-range budget documentation, funding requests, and program plans; tracking milestones and risks; and delivering concise program

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of program/budget analysis experience; Associates +2 years may be considered.
• Expertise with PPBE systems (FormEX, CostEX) and DOE/DOD budgeting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with experience briefing senior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget and program analyses to support programmatic decision-making for NNSA and senior leadership.
• Prepare multi-year program cost and budget documentation, including complex spreadsheets and briefings.
• Draft work authorizations, approved funding documentation, and issue papers on projects and benefits.
• Analyze, format, and present budget justifications to Federal management and external entities.
• Support program execution planning, tracking milestones, risks, and performance measures.
