Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or Engineering/Nuclear Technology required.
• 6 years in a nuclear facility to include 4 years technical and 2 years as a procedure/technical writer.
• 8 years in a nuclear facility to include 6 years technical and 2 years as a procedure/technical writer.
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical ability, and communication skills.
• Willing to establish residence within a 45-minute drive to the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant.

Responsibilities

• Write and develop new procedures and changes to existing procedures as assigned.
• Review plant documents for procedure impact.
• Coordinate with other departments and organizations during procedure development and revision process.
• Maintain associated procedure databases and records.
• Participate in benchmarking and self-assessment plans.
• Investigate and provide responses to condition reports assigned to the procedure section.
• Perform other procedure-related duties as assigned.
