Job summary

You will ensure documents meet NQA-1, DOD, NRC, and OSHA standards, incorporating hazard analysis, LOTO, PPE, and human performance tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience writing procedures in regulated industries such as nuclear/defense.
• Experience developing safety-related procedures and hazard mitigation documentation.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety principles and regulatory documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and maintain procedures for manufacturing, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, and operations.
• Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, operations, quality, and EHS to gather content and ensure safe work practices.
• Ensure procedures comply with NQA-1, DOD, NRC, OSHA, and internal standards.
• Incorporate safety requirements (PPE, LOTO, hazard identification, hold points) into documents.
• Format documents for clarity, usability, and regulatory compliance; maintain revision history.
• Participate in procedure reviews, field walkdowns, and validation activities.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments with traceable, compliant documentation.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and develop training materials to reinforce safe practices.
