Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification.
• Must possess ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.
• Current ACLS or BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them through the facility.
• Inject radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic scans.
• Verify scan orders 48 hours in advance.
• Process images and push to PACS.
• Maintain QA logs for equipment and patient records.
• Perform QA and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Develop procedures to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, educators, and vendors.
