RadNet in California is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to perform high quality PET/CT imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration under radiologist supervision. The role emphasizes patient care, protocol adherence, and safety in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT(N) or NMTCB credentials, a state license, venipuncture and BLS certifications, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
• State Nuclear Medicine License required.
• Venipuncture certification/permit required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients with excellent care.
• Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Under radiologist direction, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases.
• Guide patients through the exam steps and answer questions and concerns.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or problems.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrates professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
