Responsibilities

• Oversee Nuclear Medicine Technologists and procedures.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies, calculate and administer doses under physician direction.
• Calibrate equipment and perform diagnostic scans with scanners or scintillation cameras.
• Measure radioactivity using Geiger counters and scintillation detectors and maintain radiation safety practices.
