Job summary

Kona Community Hospital, part of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, is seeking an Imaging Specialist IV in Nuclear Medicine on a part-time/ casual basis on the Big Island. The role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures, managing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring quality protocols.

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology, Hawaii license, and relevant imaging experience, with potential for weekend or holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved program.
• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Specialized imaging experience in nuclear medicine and related modalities.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical nuclear medicine procedures as adjunct to diagnosis or treatment.
• Monitor and maintain radioactive supplies and record keeping.
• Operate with radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and standards.
