An established industry player is seeking a Nuclear Fuel Packaging Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design and analysis of nuclear fuel products. The Nuclear Fuel Packaging Design Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design and analysis of nuclear fuel products and packaging. This position is part of the team responsible for developing and designing fuel bundle technologies and their packaging for application in nuclear reactors.
In this role, the Nuclear Fuel Packaging Design Engineer will collaborate with sourcing, fabrication and quality, fuel experts, and regulatory affairs to assure product performs within licensed and GNF performance expectations.
This position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) if not already local.

The base pay range for this position is $112,000-160,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 3/28/2025.
