Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced Nuclear/CT Technologist to perform routine to complex Nuclear and CT imaging and laboratory procedures. The role requires independent work, sound clinical judgment, and certification in CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging, with BLS and ARRT/NMTCB credentials expected.

Qualifications

  • Requires CT and Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification and 3 years' experience.
  • Licenses include BLS and one of ARRT/NMTCB certifications.
  • Demonstrates safety, quality and customer service in imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging and complex data processing for diagnosis.
  • Operate the nuclear pharmacy duties as defined in policy.
  • Maintain radiation safety and QC procedures across modalities.
  • Schedule imaging procedures and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.
  • Mentor staff and students to build confidence and skills.
