Job summary

Saic is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst - Nuclear Budget and Policy to provide critical financial and policy support to the Headquarters Air Force. This role involves complex budget management and coordination with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the PPBE process and a Bachelor’s or Master's degree with extensive experience. The target salary range is $120,001 - $160,000, reflecting expertise and accountability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years with a Master's Degree.
• Proven expertise in the DAF organizational structure and nuclear operations.
• Extensive experience working within DoD’s PPBE process.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial exhibits and program status reports for NC3 portfolios.
• Draft budget justifications for internal programming and congressional reviews.
• Conduct detailed program and budget analysis throughout the PPBE process.
• Serve as a technical advocate in governance forums on budgeting and programming.

Active Top-Secret Clearance (TS/SCI eligibility)

Expertise in DoD financial management
