Job summary

A leading nuclear engineering firm in Camden, NJ seeks a Sr. Balance of Plant Operations Engineer to oversee and direct work activities on balance of plant structures and systems. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Commercial Nuclear Power Plants, specifically PWRs, and an excellent understanding of PWR systems. Responsibilities include reviewing system documentation and supporting equipment specifications. The position offers a competitive compensation package between $140,000 and $160,000 and benefits including medical insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Commercial Nuclear Power Plant, specifically with PWRs.
• Excellent understanding of PWR systems and their operating conditions.
• Demonstrated experience with balance of plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work activities within Holtec and its subcontractors on balance of plant components.
• Review system documentation including functionality and maintenance reviews.
• Support development of system configurations to achieve startup and shutdown objectives.
