Job summary

Supermicro is looking for a seasoned procurement and supply chain professional in San Jose to lead purchasing, planning, and inventory management for growth-focused product lines. You will source high-quality components, negotiate with global vendors, and ensure materials are available for NPI and ongoing production.

The role requires 8+ years in materials management, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong ERP and Microsoft Office skills; Mandarin is a plus for Asia-based suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Material Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, and supply chain operations.
• Prefer Mandarin speaker to work with CM’s in Asia.

Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and negotiate high-quality components while managing long lead-time materials.
• Plan and monitor inventory levels based on demand and targets.
• Manage relationships with global vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze vendor quotations to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with specs.
