Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of statistics and their application to quality improvement and process control.
- Experience using quality software tools, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting applications.
- Working knowledge of aerospace quality standards and APQP.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality activities throughout product development, qualification, and production launch.
- Interpret customer and contractual quality requirements and ensure effective flow-down across the organization.
- Support design reviews and influence product development through quality, manufacturing, and risk-based decision making.
- Drive APQP activities and support AS9145-compliant product development processes.
- Develop and implement inspection strategies for receiving, manufacturing, assembly, test, and final inspection operations.
- Lead statistical analysis, process monitoring, variation reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct failure investigations and support root cause and corrective action activities.
- Support qualification testing, conformity inspections, PPAP documentation, and production readiness activities.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters.
- Drive product and process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
