Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (mechanical, chemical, biomedical, industrial, etc.).
• Eight+ years in medical device development or highly regulated industry.
• Experience leading business process improvement and new product development.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications; ability to communicate at multiple levels.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional NPD programs.
• Improve PMO processes and tools for predictable execution and reporting.
• Develop and implement R&D programs, policies, and procedures for profitable growth.
• Provide leadership to design/development teams during transfer phase.
• Provide resources to perform assigned tasks.
• Interface with regulatory, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements.
• Develop and maintain departmental budgets.
• Contribute to strategic planning for the business unit.
• Participate in review boards (CAPA, complaints, etc.).
• Review and approve project and quality system documentation.
