Job summary

Star Manufacturing is seeking a Senior New Product Development (NPD) Engineer to drive the design and development of commercial cooking products from concept to launch. You will apply SolidWorks for drawings and models, and lead DFMA and FMEA practices to optimize reliability and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet launch targets, manage documentation, and support cost modeling and testing in a hands-on office and prototyping setting.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or 15 years of experience in an Engineering role.
• 10 years of experience in related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling/drawings, SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities on new product development projects, including redesigns of existing lines.
• Incorporate DFMA, DFMEA, and design reviews to improve reliability and manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and agency parameters.
