Job summary

CIRCOR International seeks a Senior NPD Design Engineer to lead the end-to-end evolution of next-generation gear and pump products. You will collaborate with Business Development, QA and Operations to translate market requirements into precise designs.

You will supervise prototype fabrication, perform FEA, conduct DFMEA, and ensure manufacturability while optimizing cost and performance across a global portfolio.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of Design Engineering experience on industrial equipment (ideally fluids or rotating machinery).
• 3-7 years in New Product Development creating new industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design with 3D CAD and 2D drawings.
• Perform FEA and engineering calculations for safety and performance.
• Coordinate DVP&R testing to validate designs.
• Conduct DFMEA and risk analyses to prevent failures.
• Drive DFM and DFA to minimize cost and cycle time while maintaining quality.
• Oversee prototype fabrication and testing.
