• Mastery of MS Office Desktop applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound credit skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting: Leads the full underwriting process for complex nonprofit relationships and structures loan documents.
• Portfolio Management: Manages an assigned Not-For-Profit portfolio with risk reviews and compliance.
• Client Calling Effort: Builds direct relationships with nonprofit executives and stakeholders.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Maintains sector knowledge on nonprofit accounting, donor funds, and liquidity.
• Deal Team Management: Mentors junior staff and collaborates with risk, product, and relationship teams.
• Span of Control: Communicates with multiple internal/external stakeholders to ensure risk view.
• Problem Complexity: Handles very complex credits for large institutions within the portfolio.
• Leadership / Negotiating: Develops independent risk views and guides decision-makers.
