A nonprofit organization is seeking an Accounting Manager responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, supervising staff, and supporting audit preparations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5-7 years of experience, and proficiency with accounting systems like Sage Intacct. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity and aligns with the organization's strategic goals.

Formación

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior experience in nonprofit accounting strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising staff or leading accounting functions preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and review the work of accounting staff.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and grant reporting functions.
• Manage daily cash reporting and financial tracking processes.
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit standards.
• Collaborate across departments to support organizational financial operations.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in accounting systems (Sage Intacct, Bill.com, or similar)

Strong Excel and financial reporting skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication skills

Educación

Bachelor's degree in accounting

CPA-track or master's degree
