Acrisure Mortgage, LLC is seeking an experienced Non‑QM Underwriter to join a fast‑paced production team in a remote capacity. The role focuses on detailed credit analysis across complex Non‑QM loan products and ensuring sound underwriting decisions with exceptional service.

You will review income, assets, and documentation, issue decisions, and maintain high quality in a high‑volume environment while staying current with investor guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Non-QM underwriting.
• Experience underwriting Non-QM loans with delegated authority preferred.
• Strong knowledge of alternative documentation lending programs.
• Extensive experience reviewing self-employed borrower income and complex financials.
• Ability to interpret multiple investor guidelines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Clear, professional underwriting communications.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven production environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently review and underwrite Non‑QM mortgage loan applications.
• Evaluate borrower credit, income, assets, collateral, and loan eligibility.
• Analyze complex income documents: self‑employment, tax returns, bank statements, asset depletion, rental income, K‑1s, alternative income.
• Issue underwriting decisions (approvals, conditions, suspensions, denials) per guidelines.
• Ensure loans meet regulatory, compliance, and investor requirements.
• Maintain underwriting turn times with a high-volume pipeline.
• Communicate decisions clearly with Loan Officers, Processors, and Operations.
• Assist with loan scenarios and guidance on complex transactions.
• Maintain high quality standards by minimizing revisions and post‑closing findings.
• Stay current on Non‑QM products and industry regulations.
