Neighborhood Loans is seeking a Non-QM Help Desk Specialist to support our Operations Team and Loan Officers with non-QM scenarios. You will help structure deals, analyze income types, and select suitable products to close loans while serving clients with high service standards.

The role blends sales and underwriting, requires accurate income calculation, knowledge of DSCR and bank statement products, and strong communication in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage lending with Non-QM exposure (underwriting, processing, or origination).
• Strong understanding of Non-QM products and guidelines (DSCR, bank statement, asset-based).
• Proven ability to structure complex deals and think strategically.
• Solid income calculation skills across multiple borrower types.
• Clear and confident communication with sales teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to resource for Loan Officers on Non-QM scenarios.

• Interpret and apply investor guidelines to real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Sales Teams to improve file/deal quality and efficiency.
• Respond to Loan Officer inquiries promptly via email and Microsoft Teams.

Non-QM Help Desk Specialist

We are seeking a Non-QM Help Desk Specialist to join our growing Operations Team! This role sits at the intersection of sales and underwriting, acting as a strategic partner to our Loan Officers by helping them structure complex Non-QM scenarios, analyze income, and identify the right products to close deals and best serve our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to resource for Loan Officers on Non-QM scenarios

• Analyze and calculate complex income types including: bank statement income, 1099/ self-employed borrowers, profit & loss (P&L) and asset utilization/depletion
• Review loan scenarios and provide clear, actionable feedback

• Interpret and apply investor guidelines to real-world scenarios
