Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a materials engineering professional to lead non-metallic materials aspects across Chemical Process projects. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to design, fabricate, inspect, and repair non-metallic equipment, ensuring safety and performance.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical Engineering background with emphasis on non-metallic materials and 5–10 years in chemical processing.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with background in non-metallic materials.
• 5-10 years of experience in Chemical Process industries with involvement in fabrication phases of non-metallic materials.
• Experience in design, fabrication, and project process flow for obtaining new non-metallic equipment or repair/replacement.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting services to Chemours global chemical businesses in non-metallic materials engineering and related technologies.
• Assist in materials selection for projects and provide technical support to plant operations, capital projects, and R&D.
• Lead materials aspects throughout project execution and coordinate with external vendors for design, fabrication, and repairs.
• Prepare technical reports and assist in specifications, inspection reports, and maintenance of internal standards.
• Travel approximately 35% to plant sites and fabrication shops.
