Job summary

Gannett Fleming, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Noise Analyst to lead complex noise and vibration studies and provide regulatory guidance across planning, environmental review, design, construction, and operations phases.

You will mentor staff, guide clients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective mitigation solutions for transportation, industrial, and energy projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• INCE Board Certified Noise Control Engineer certification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensure, where applicable.
• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or equivalent designation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex noise and vibration studies and regulatory compliance assessments.
• Develop mitigation strategies and provide technical guidance throughout planning, environmental review, design, construction, and operations.
• Collaborate with environmental planners, engineers, architects, and other professionals to evaluate acoustic impacts and mitigation options.
• Serve as a senior technical resource, mentor staff, and support proposals and cost estimates.
