Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our team in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js, JavaScript, and cloud-based architectures. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Node.js and related frameworks.
2. Design, implement, and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
3. Work with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and other databases to ensure efficient data handling.
4. Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
5. Implement microservices architecture and integrate with third-party services.
6. Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
7. Ensure security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
8. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance.
9. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Node.js development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 5+ years of hands-on Node.js experience.
2. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.
3. Strong experience in building and optimizing RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
4. Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, or other databases.
5. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
6. Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
7. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
8. Expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.
9. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
2. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.
3. Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
4. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
