Qualifications

• Ten+ years of commercial mid-market or CRE lending and/or NMTC experience.
• Experience with NMTCs and community development financing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or real estate.

Responsibilities

• Pursue leads for new NMTC projects and close financing or new business opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with NMTC financing parties—community development entities, investors, lenders.
• Lead marketing of NMTC projects to CDEs and investors.
• Manage projects, educate borrowers on NMTC timelines, success strategies, processes, and structures.
• Assist clients with NMTC financing structures and financial models.
• Prepare executive summaries and pitchbooks to source NMTC capital.
• Secure and negotiate term sheets from all parties involved in the financing.
• Oversee due diligence gathering, organization, and analysis.
• Oversee closing and documentation of NMTC financings.
• Represent Baker Tilly and the NMTC team in outreach and client interactions.
• Help grow the NMTC financing practice and mentor staff.
