Qualifications

• Ten+ years in commercial mid-market or CRE lending or NMTC related accounting.
• Experience with NMTCs and community development finance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pursue NMTC projects and close financing or new business opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with NMTC financing parties (CD entities, investors, lenders).
• Lead marketing of NMTC projects to CD entities and investors.
• Manage projects including educating potential borrowers on NMTC timelines and strategies.
• Assist clients with financing structures to support NMTC financings.
• Prepare preliminary financial structures/models for NMTCs.
• Prepare executive summary pitchbooks to source NMTC capital.
• Secure and negotiate term sheets from all parties involved.
• Oversee due diligence gathering, organization, and analysis.
• Oversee NMTC financing closing and documentation.
• Represent Baker Tilly and the NMTC team in outreach and meetings.
• Assist in growing the NMTC financing practice.
• Staff management and development of team members.
