Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Experience in information retrieval, ML, NLP or recommender systems.
• Strong search indexing, retrieval and ranking skills.
• 1+ year deploying ML models to production.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and strong coding skills.
• Experience scaling ML models for high-traffic environments.
• SQL/Hive or similar for large databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and productionize scalable deep-learning models to enhance search for Target customers.
• Architect and implement large-scale ML systems using data-driven practices.
• Build NLP tech for QA evaluation, processing, and information retrieval.
• Create data pipelines for feature/label extraction and model training.
• Analyze model behavior to identify improvements and performance gains.
• Conduct research to advance new training and NLP techniques.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate on enterprise-grade software.
• Follow Agile practices and maintain technical documentation.
• Keep systems updated with modern technology.
